On a light note, I finally finished watching all 3 LOTR. Thanks to the dearest bf who explained to me throughout the movie when I got confused and cooking me food during the times I got hungry. Great production!!

I am so excited about my trip I rented a serviced apartment in the centre of Causeway Bay, thus the centre of everything!!! I rented it for the end of Nov until early Jan, sharing it with the boyfriend. It’s going to be sooo fun! Walking on the street at night time after dinner.. then shopping around at the supermarket before heading back to the apartment, if gets hungry can just walk out for supper. Oh that’s life baby.

Anyways, time to get back to my studies before this beautiful holiday comes alife. Cheers!!!!

I cried like a panda during the whole movie, I think i scared the boy..haha he was handing me tissues through out the whole movie, each single time Holly received a letter from Jerry, I cried. I turned to the boy and demanded him to take good care of himself because if anything were to happen, I’ll become Holly. It’s scary how much we can rely on one person, i know it’s extremely selfish to think and be like this, but i would have to die before my old spouse because i could never stand the pain of losing my partner at an old age after spending all those years together.

Pusuit of the Happiness
Definitely became one of my favourite movies of all time. It is just so inspiration. Chris Gardner just became one of my inspiration role models. His attitude and optimistics is what got him through life. His story and journey to success is so bitter sweet, yet at the end it was all worth it. This movie made me re-realised that noone said life was easy, but it is through all these challenges and rocks that blocks our paths, and that at the end of the day when we reach success, the success is so freaking sweet. Many times have I wanted to give up on my dreams because of others telling me I can’t do it, but don’t let anyone tell you you can’t and stop you from reaching your dreams. protect them.

I’ve just checked my exam timetable, 1 on the 09/11 and TWO on 21/11, then that night I’ll be flying out to HK at 10:20pm and arriving at HK airport at 5am HK time, then meeting up with others and flying straight to Malaysia. I should be back in Sydney by mid Jan. This is due to I might be taking a trip to Vancouver with Bernard in December, but that’s not confirmed yet. Talk about a packed schedule? tell me about it! I’ll be booking my tickets tomorrow.

Jen & Dave’s Wedding
Attended my youth leader’s wedding last weekend, it was a beautiful sight. As per usual us worship team was in charge of the worship and item, and surprisingly scored us with an upcoming wedding (the bridesmaid for Jen & Dave’s wedding is getting marry in October) so she actually asked us to play for her wedding too! haha. Awesome! Anyways it was a very nice wedding, the ceremony took place at Hillsong Burwood Building then reception was at Bankstown Maxim Restaurant. I’ll upload some photos in the next post

Mooncake Festival at Church
Had an early celebration for Mooncake festival last sunday at church, as per usual we had items and FOR once they were not conducted by our youth! We had adults singing opera, Elderly performing in dramas, oh it was awesome stuff! I’ll so upload photos!!

John & Nichole’s Birthday
Had a 7 course dinner at Jazuyi Japanese Restaurant at Surry Hills lastnight. The food was excellent!! Yumm haha and the bill was huge. 17 people and we ate $1100. I’ll upload some photos later too. But Happy Birthday JN!!!!! You guys are so amazing and awesome!

CSI & Indiana Jones
I can’t believe I’m watching CSI. I’m so not a western series person, however considering Bernard is one, we spend our time watching series – -”. However I’m starting to really enjoy CSI, it is just so much more real than HK series lol. and Indiana Jones is so fun on PS3! so for all the PS3 fans, go and buy it!  

I have one law essay due this Friday, family dinner for mooncake this saturday, this weekend is not any less eventful, but… i love it. Cheers!

Sigh, I never want to deal with you again. Just get out of my life please. You’re just simply not worth my time.

Mid sem break next week!!!! Which means catching up with old friends! I’m so excited, it’s been ages!

Life is going good, because I’ll be received my mastercard tomorrow from CBA. HORHORHOR what did I get myself into??? >.<

I’m having an easy night in tonight, going to do some cleaning of the room and catching up on studies, doing court bail application preparation and also catching up on sleep and some novel reading hopefully! i really miss my readings

Few nights ago Bernard & I went to eastwood so he can meet up with his friend for a drink whilst i went to Homer’s cafe to do some studying. It was then, when i was by myself at Homers, i felt really content and blessed. I was studying my law notes, something that i wanted to do because i had an exam the next day, drinking a very nice hazelnut latte, listening to love song dedication on the radio playing at Homer’s, waiting for the better half to join me afterwards. It was a scene, filled with love.

Had another photoshoot last saturday at cockatoo island as mentioned before, i’m very happy with the end results! Here below is just a little preview of the collection, i’ll post more and link up once I have collected all the photos from the photographers

The weekend was so eventful that I dont even know where to begin… All I know its that I’ve slept for 6 hours in the past weekend.. On the edge of dying? Definitely! But it was through this weekend that toughened our relationship up.. it was definitely worth the tiredness.

I drove to the city with carparking card at world square for the first time yesterday! I felt so.. home sweet home to my office haha, probably because for the past months I’ve always public transported it.. or without parking. But having your own parking at world square.. felt like I was returning home. Well technically, it was not my parking.. it’s the boy’s, but yeah.

I was never an Eastwood person, however I’m pretty sure I’ll be going there more often now.. I just never realised how close distance my house & eastwood was until recently.

This coming week will be no less eventful. but to me, the packer my schedule is, the more income i’m creating. I’m planning to head back to HK for 1week in mid september during my mid semster break, however that is not confirmed yet until later on this week.

I’ve watched Harry Potter 6 and G-iJoe in the past week, you’ll be surprised to hear that because they are so not my type of movies.. however because the boy wanted to see them, and I don’t mind giving new stuff a go, to my own surprise, I actually quite enjoyed them! lol.

Tonight I’m having an easy night in, just going to plan out my schedule for the coming week and make few calls.
Must get into study mode very soon because I have assessments due in the coming week.
I really need to pull off a balance life, however, I’m loving just where life is at the moment.
I’m not going to be naive and say I wish time would stop right now or anything like that…
Simply because I know it won’t. However what I will do is cherish every moment.

It’s been 2 years since I’ve felt this content, and felt life is filled with colours and my rainbow finally appeared.

The 02AUG2009, what a day. <3

Uni have began once again, this sem i’m doing 3 law units and 1 marketing. going to work extra hard cause 3 laws are literally a killer. & also since they are all now level 2 units, I really need to set my priorities right.

Anyways, I’m off, to wait for the mobile to ring… and that’s if it rings.

This year I volunteered in the New Christian Team, unfortunately at my section there was no response to the altar, however throughout the arena there were responses. Each single time I see those hands being raised, it draws a tear to my heart. I never look down or little at those hands because you never know which person could change the world.

I missed the first night of the conference preaching by Craig Groeschel, however I did have the priviledge to hear him preach the Sunday beforehand. “Bless your heart” actually means “You’re an idiot” in his country. lol.

Second night was Joel & Victoria Osteem, the main concept I grapsed in his preaching was, be a healer. There’s already alot of negative aspects happening in life, we, as Christians, should be healers instead of pushing humanity even further down the hole.

Third night was Jentzen Franklin, oh my very loved pastor. I heard him back in 2007 conference and I totally love his style of preaching. “Do what you can do, and God will do what you can’t do” & “Your vision should be greater than your resources, and in Christ, He will provide the resources“. It was during that night, that God placed a vision in my heart, greater than what I’ve ever dreamt off. I don’t know whether I’ll be able to see it happen in my life time, or maybe before I have the resources to achieve it someone else have done it already, but… How does a Hillsong Hong Kong sound? One day, I have faith & I know God will bless me with the strength and resources that I need.

Fourth night was Chris Tomlin & Louie Giglio. I watched their presentation “Indescribable” last year at conference 2008, and it was… literally indescribable. Speechless. For the world so beautifully created and amazing, the universal is so enormous, it’s all created by Him, and only Him. Oh Lord, how much do I love you, and thank you for loving me, even though I’m just a dot in this universal you created, yet you love me unconditionally.

The worship was amazing, the whole conference began with the song “With Everything“, (8) let hope rise, darkness trembles, in your Holy light, every heart will see, Jesus our God, great and mighty to be praised (8). Conference also ended with this song. Everytime I hear it, it makes me just want to bow down and just worship him, giving him all the glory, all praises that we should be giving. I was so in awe of worship during the closing ceremony, tears streaming down my eyes, God, I love you, more than life.

Since all the adults came on the final night, I didn’t ask Kevin for a lift home cause I know he’ll probably be full taking others home, so I decided to catch the train home, which was not a problem cause out of the 20000 people at conference, even if 10% were to catch train with me, that’s 2000 people already. As I was lining up to buy a ticket from the ticket machine, there was this young couple infront of me, when it got to their turn, they were looking for every cent they had, they told me to go first, and so I did. As I finished buying my ticket, I was about to go, but saw them still looking for money, so I asked him if I can help them, gave him $2.80, had a chat and realised they are from Melbourne and came to Sydney just for conference. $2.80 doesn’t seem alot, but to me, that $2.80 meant it gave that couple, a happy experience coming to conference. You know, God has it ways of doing things at His times. If that night Kev had taken me home, I would not have been able to help that couple, it was just so meant to be. Things happen for a reason, and I trust Him and seek Him to take reign over my life because I know He’ll use me to do things that I’ll not be able to achieve by myself.

The past week changed my life, a close friend, worship leader, piano teacher, Jenny, left to go back to her home country Korea, we all farewelled at conference and it was a teary moment. I will miss her dearly but I know we’ll meet again. Either she come back to Sydney and serve with us again, or we go visit her =). She’s taught me alot, and her amazing faith in God inspired me to try harder than I am now. I promised her I will take good care of the keyboard playing role at church, and will not let her down. I shared with her my vision for life and I know she’ll support me. Thank you Jenny for all the time and effort you’ve invested in me, it’ll not be a waste I promise you.

Hillsong Conference 2009. A conference that changed my life forever and blessed me with a vision for life. Amen.
